Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist - Home Health Care

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist with experience in home
health care to join our team. The QA Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that our home health care
services comply with all regulatory requirements, company standards, and best practices. This individual
will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and
implementing quality assurance measures to enhance patient care and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct regular audits of home health care services, documentation, and patient records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance programs and procedures.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure adherence to best practices in patient care.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation of necessary updates to policies and procedures.
2. Process Improvement
- Identify areas of improvement in service delivery and patient care processes.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address deficiencies and enhance quality outcomes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
3. Training & Development
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff on quality assurance standards and practices.
- Provide ongoing support and education to staff to ensure understanding and adherence to QA protocols.
4. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all QA activities, including audits, corrective actions, and training sessions.
- Generate and analyze QA reports to identify trends and areas of concern.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
5. Patient Safety & Risk Management
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and risk assessments to identify potential patient safety issues.
- Implement and monitor corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve patient safety.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the home health care industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
